CSIR - Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI), Mysuru invites online applications for admission to its MSc (Food Technology) program for the academic session 2025–2027. This two-year postgraduate course, offered under the Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR), New Delhi, is designed to provide advanced training in food science and technology. A total of 36 seats are available for admission.
Eligibility Criteria:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Agriculture, Engineering, or Technology from a recognized university is required.
Candidates awaiting final-year results may apply and appear for the entrance test, but admission is subject to meeting the given academic criteria.

Candidates will be selected solely based on their performance in the entrance examination. Reservation policies will be applied as per government norms.
The entrance test will consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Negative marking will be applicable: one-fourth of the mark assigned to each question will be deducted for incorrect answers. No marks will be deducted for unanswered questions.
