CFTRI Admission 2025 PhD Course Online Application
CSIR–Central Food Technological Research Institute in Mysuru invites applications for the full time Doctoral research programme in Sciences and Engineering offered through the Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research. The institute provides advanced laboratories, pilot plants and guidance for research across food science and technology domains.
Eligibility Criteria:
PhD in Science, Biological or Chemical
- Master degree in science with a minimum of 55 percent marks
- Valid national level fellowship such as CSIR, ICMR, UGC, DBT, DST, INSPIRE, RGNF or an equivalent award
PhD in Engineering
- Master degree in Engineering or Technology after a four year programme or an integrated five year BTech or MTech, with 55 percent

Selection is based on aptitude tests or interviews, conducted online or in person for shortlisted applicants at CSIR–CFTRI Mysuru. Travel and daily allowance is not provided for attending in person assessments.
Application Fee :
Application fee: Rs 1000 for General, OBC and EWS, and 500 rupees for SC, ST and persons with disability. Fees can be paid online using debit card, credit card, net banking, UPI.
