AIIPMR Admission 2020 Prosthetics and Orthotics Courses Application Form

All India Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AIIPMR) has released a notification for admission into Prosthetics and Orthotics Courses. Eligible candidates have to apply through the offline format only.

Bachelor of Prosthetics & Orthotics course - 04 years and 06 months.: 16 seats
Master of Prosthetics & Orthotics course - 02 years: 04 seats

Eligibility Criteria:

For Bachelor of Prosthetics & Orthotics course:

Candidates who have passed 12th Std./10 +2 examination with English and minimum 50 % Marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology for General Category, 40% marks for SC/ST/OBC, & 45% marks for PH category or any other Examination recognized as equivalent theretoby Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.

The candidates must be born on or before 31-12-2003.

For Master of Prosthetics & Orthotics course:

Candidates should have completed a Bachelor's degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics (P&O) from an institute recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India with completion of compulsory six months Internship.

Date of Entrance Examination for MPO: 10-01-2021

Admission Procedure:

For Bachelor of Prosthetics & Orthotics course:

Current year NEET Scores will be considered for admission to the BPO course along with other qualification & qualifying examination.

For Master of Prosthetics & Orthotics course:

The selection will be based on the Entrance Test. Entrance Test will be of one-hour duration of 60 marks consisting of Multiple Choice Questions based on syllabus taught at Under Graduate Level i.e. Bachelor of Prosthetics & Orthotics standardized by Rehabilitation Council of India.

Application Fee :

Candidates should pay in the form of a Demand Draft/ Pay Order drawn in favor of "Director, AIIPMR" Payable at Mumbai from any nationalized bank only.

For BPO Course:

Application fee for General category candidates is Rs.350/-
Application fee for SC/ST/PH candidates is Rs. 250/-

For MPO Course:

Application fee for General Category candidates is Rs. 650/-
Application fee for SC/ST/PH candidates is Rs. 550/-

How to Apply :

Duly filled in the application form and application fees and required self-attested certificates as mentioned in the application form can be submitted in room no. 201, 2nd floor/can be sent by post on Institutes address.

AIIPMR Admission 2020 MPT/ MOT/ Fellowship Course Application Form

All India Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AIIPMR) has released an admission notification for MPT/MOT/ Fellowship Course for the academic year 2020. Eligible candidates have to apply through the offline format only.

1. Master of Physiotherapy (MPT)
2. Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT)
3. Fellowship course in Rehabilitation Physiotherapy (FCRPT)
4. Fellowship course in Rehabilitation Occupational Therapy (FCROT)

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates should have completed Bachelor's Degree in the relevant field from any recognized University.

Last Date for Submission of Application Form: 20-12-2020

Admission Procedure:

The selection will be based on the Entrance Test. The entrance test will be for 1 ½ Hour duration of a Total of 100 Marks. Each question carries equal marks. There will be no negative marking.

Entrance Test will consist of 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) for each stream, based on syllabus taught at undergraduate level & will have three sections:

Section I - Medical Section - 50 Marks
Section II - Occupational Therapy Section - 50 Marks
Section III - Physiotherapy Section - 50 Marks

Application Fee :

The application fee is Rs. 650/- for each course to be paid along with the application form. For SC/ST/PH Candidates Application fee is relaxed to Rs. 550/-

How to Apply :

Duly filled in application form and Application Fees to be submitted in room no. 201, 2 nd floor during office time (Monday –Friday – 9.00 am to 4.00 pm, Saturday – 9.00 am to 12.30 pm) or can be sent by post on Institute's address.
