AIIMS/MANIT Bhopal Admission 2025 PhD Programme Application Form

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Bhopal, in collaboration with Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT) Bhopal, invites applications for admission to the PhD Programme for the academic year 2025. This joint initiative offers research opportunities across interdisciplinary domains, supported by the combined academic expertise of both institutions.

Eligible candidates are required to submit their applications in the prescribed format, ensuring all necessary documents are enclosed, before the specified due date.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must possess one of the given educational qualifications to be eligible for admission to the PhD Programme:

• MBBS or BDS with a postgraduate qualification such as MD, MS, MDS, DM, M.Ch, or DNB in the relevant subject.
• BAMS, BUMS, or BHMS with relevant postgraduate qualifications.
• M.Sc. Nursing for candidates applying under the Nursing discipline.
• Postgraduate degrees in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or other allied fields for non-medical candidates.

Only those candidates whose applications are shortlisted after initial screening will be called for the interview round.

Admission Procedure:

Selection of candidates for admission to the PhD Programme will be carried out through an interview process. The interview will include clinical, practical, or lab-based assessment depending on the area of research.

Only those candidates who meet the required academic qualifications will be shortlisted and called for the interview based on the evaluation of their submitted applications.

Application Fee :

• For General, OBC, and EWS candidates: Rs. 1000/-
• For SC, ST, PwBD, and Women candidates: No fee (Nil)

The application fee should be paid through a Demand Draft drawn in favour of “Director AIIMS Bhopal,” payable at Bhopal. Other modes of payment will not be accepted.

How to Apply :

Applications will be accepted only on the prescribed application form. Candidates must ensure that the completed application form, along with the prescribed fee, is submitted either by Speed Post or by hand.

The last date for submission is 28-05-2025, up to 5:00 PM. Applications must be sent to or submitted at the Office of the Registrar, Academic Block, AIIMS Bhopal, Saket Nagar, Bhopal (MP) – 462020.

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bhopal is inviting applications for admission to its PhD Program for the academic year 2025. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria are required to submit their applications in the prescribed format within the specified deadline.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must meet at least one of the given educational qualifications to be eligible for admission:

• MBBS or BDS degree along with a postgraduate qualification such as MD, MDS, MPH, or any integrated postgraduate degree.
• MPH or a postgraduate degree in disciplines such as Anthropology, Sociology, or Life Sciences.

Admission Procedure:

The selection process for admission to the PhD Program at AIIMS Bhopal consists of two distinct stages. The first stage is a written examination conducted in offline mode, comprising objective-type multiple choice questions (MCQs). This test carries a maximum of 80 marks and has a duration of 2 hours. It is designed to assess the candidate's academic knowledge and analytical abilities relevant to their field of study.

The second stage is an interview that includes clinical, practical, or lab-based assessment depending on the discipline. This stage carries a maximum of 20 marks and evaluates the candidate’s research aptitude, subject understanding, and practical skills. The final selection will be based on the combined score from both stages, with the total marks being 100.

Application Fee :

The application fee for the PhD Program at AIIMS Bhopal is Rs. 1000/- for candidates belonging to the General, OBC, and EWS categories. However, candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities), and all Women candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.

The fee should be paid through a Demand Draft drawn in favour of “Director AIIMS Bhopal,” payable at Bhopal. No other modes of payment will be accepted.

Applications will be invited in the prescribed format. Candidates must ensure that the completed application form, along with the applicable fee, is submitted properly as per the given instructions.

The duly filled application form must be sent either by Speed Post or submitted by hand, and should reach the Office of the Registrar, Academic Block, AIIMS Bhopal, Saket Nagar, Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) – 462020, on 05-06-2025.
