CSIR IMMT Admission 2025 PhD/ IDDP Course Online Application
CSIR Institute of Minerals and Materials Technology in Bhubaneswar has invited online applications for admission to the PhD and Integrated Dual Degree Program for the January 2026 session. The institute functions under the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research and focuses on research in mineral processing, material resources engineering, process metallurgy, advanced materials and environmental sustainability. It offers good research infrastructure and interdisciplinary opportunities for doctoral scholars.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates applying for the PhD in Engineering must hold a Master's degree in Engineering or Technology after a four year or integrated program in fields such as Metallurgical, Chemical, Mineral, Mechanical, Mining, Environmental, Electronics, Computer Sciences or Information Technology. They should also hold a valid national fellowship such as CSIR JRF or SRF or equivalent.
For the Integrated Dual Degree Program in Engineering, applicants must have a four year undergraduate degree in relevant branches along with eligibility through GATE JRF, INSPIRE fellowship, sponsorship or criteria for institute staff.
