CSIR NET Recruitment 2016 NET December 2016 Exam for Junior Research Fellowship and Lectureship Posts Online Application

Central Board of Secondary Education (NET) will conduct National Eligibility Test for Junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor both, which will be held on 18-12-2016. Interested and eligible candidates are requested to apply online against the notification from 16-08-2016 to 09-09-2016.

Before applying online application candidates must read carefully all the information about eligibility criteria and other norms. Before applying online candidates must have scan copy of their photograph. Candidates must fill all details carefully in the online application.

Important Dates :

Start of On-Line Submission of Application Form and Fee deposit through Bank Challan : 16-08-2016

Date of close of deposit of fee : 08-09-2016

Date of close of On-Line submission of Applications : 09-09-2016

Last date of receipt of duly completed hard copy of online application in the Examination Unit : 16-09-2016 (23-09-2016 for remote areas)

Test to be held on : 18-12-2016

Selection Procedure :

Canudidates will appear in MCQ exam on 18-12-2016 and will later be given scorecards tobe used for getting shortlisted in Interviews for various JRF /Lecturers posts arising in various Government ediucation institutes.

The question paper shall be divided into three parts, (A, B & C) as per syllabus & Scheme of Exam.

Part 'A' shall be common to all subjects. This part shall contain questions pertaining to General Aptitude with emphasis on logical reasoning, graphical analysis, analytical and numerical ability, quantitative comparison, series formation, puzzles etc.

Part 'B' shall contain subject-related conventional Multiple Choice questions (MCQs), generally covering the topics given in the syllabus.

Part 'C' shall contain higher value questions that may test the candidate's knowledge of scientific concepts and/or application of the scientific concepts.

The questions shall be of analytical nature where a candidate is expected to apply the scientific knowledge to arrive at the solution to the given scientific problem

The test will be held at 27 Centres spread all over India, as specified - Bangalore, Bhavnagar, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Delhi, Guntur, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Imphal, Jammu, Jamshedpur, Jorhat, Karaikudi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Nagpur, Pilani, Pune, Raipur, Roorkee, Srinagar, Thiruvananthapuram, Udaipur and Varanasi.

Structure of Fee :

Fee is rs 250 for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped (PH) or Visually Handicapped (VH ), 500 for Other Backward Classes(OBC)-Non Creamy Layer and 1000 for General categories. Fee can be paid thorugh Indian Bank challan by 08-09-2016 (OR through NEFT from any other Bank branch).

Procedure to Apply :

Interested candidates may apply online by 09-09-2016 and send print of filled forms signed by applicant along with all relevant documents and testimonials to the given address by 16-09-2016 (23-09-2016 for remote areas).

Candidates, after successfully submitting application online are required to take print out of the Application Form, paste his/her recent black & white photograph, put his/her signature at the required space, attach caste certificate, if applicable and send along with CSIR marked copy of fee deposited Bank Challan in an envelope super scribed with Subject Code, Centre Code & Medium Code to the given address.

Keep a print copy with yourself for future use.
