Online Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the recruitment for Combined Civil Services Examination-II-2017 for 1953 Personal Clerk, Assistant, LDC, Steno-Typist Posts in Tamilnadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC).Candidates of only Indian nationality can apply for these posts.

It is mandatory for the applicants to register their basic particulars through One-Time online Registration system on payment of Rs.150/-. Before filling One Time Registration, applicants must have scanned image of their photograph and signature.

Candidates are advised to carefully fill in the online application themselves as no change in any of the data filled in the online application will be permitted.. After submission of online form, Candidates are required to retain the unique Registration Number and use it for future correspondence.

Mode of Recruitment :

Selection will be on the basis of Prelims Test, Mains Test and Personal Interviews

Prelims test will be held on 19-08-2017. It will comprise of 175 Questions on General Studies and 25 Questions on Aptitude and Mental Ability Test. Total marks will be 300 (Qualifiying Marks - 90) and Duration 180 Minutes.

Mains test will later be held for candidates shortlisted in Prelims. It will be of 900 Marks (3 Papers of 300 Marks each).

Finally, an Interview will be held for 120 marks, for candidates successful in Prelims and Mains so far.

 

Fee Structure :

One - Time online Registration fee - Rs.150 (Not to be paid if candidate is already previously registered on TNPSC Site). Apart from One time fee, Rs. 100 is to be paid application fee by candidates (Exempted for SC / ST / PWD / EXS).

Preliminary Examination fee Rs.100/- (Rupees One hundred only) is payable by online through Net Banking/credit card/Debit card or it can be paid by offline at SBI / at Indian Bank within 2 days from the date of submission of online application (by 12-06-2017).
