Selection Process - Prasar Bharati 1630 Engineering Assistant and Technicians

Prasar Bharati comprises of Doordarshan television network and All India Radio which were earlier media units of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

SSC (Staff selection Commission) has been given the charge of completing the recruitment process of total 1630 Engineering Assistants and Technicians in Prasar Bharati.

Selection process will consist of a written examination having two papers. A Personal interview of 100 Marks will be conducted for Engineering Assistants posts only.

Exam Pattern

• For Engineering Assistants -
  • Written test To be conducted on July 21 , 2013.
  • Pattern - Written Examination of Two Papers and a Personal Interview.

  • There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
  • Paper 2 (descriptive Type) will be evaluated for those Candidates who qualify in Paper 1.
  • Candidates qualifying in Paper 1 & 2 will be considered for The interview of 100 marks.
  • Finally appointment to be made on merit basis of Paper 1,2 and Interview marks (Total 500) and proper scrutiny of documents.
• For Technicians -
  • Written test To be conducted on May 26, 2013.
  • Pattern - Written Examination of Two Papers (No Interview).
