Indo Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) invites online applications to appoint eligible candidates for filling up 241 posts of Head Constable (Motor Mechanic) & Constable (Motor Mechanic) in Group ‘C’ (Non-Gazetted & Non-Ministerial) on permanent basis .

Interested and eligible candidates may apply online from 02-01-2018 to 31-01-2018. Candidates must go through the detail notification and ensure that they fulfil all eligibility criteria before filling online form.

While filling online form, candidates must have scanned copies of passport size photograph & signature and valid E-mail id & Mobile number.

 

Vacancies & Eligibility Criteria:

Mode of Recruitment :

Selection will be based on physical efficiency test, physical standard test (PST), Written examination, Skill Test. Before start of physical efficiency test (PET) and physical standard test (PST) the candidates will undergo thorough verification of identity including Biometric capture.

Physical Efficiency Test:

  • 1.6 Kms Race : completed within 7.30 minutes.
  • Long Jump: 11 Feet (03 Chances)
  • High Jump: 3½ Feet (03 Chances)

Candidates who qualify PST will have to appear in written examination. Written test for 50 marks containing 50 questions will consist of only OMR based objective type multiple choice questions. Question paper will be set bilingually in Hindi and English.

Candidates who qualify the written test will be put through a Skill Test.

Skill Test:

  • Vehicle inspection: 15 marks.
  • Identification of faults: 15 marks.
  • Rectification of defects: 15 marks.
  • Handling of tools: 05 marks

After completion of the Practical (Skill) Test, Merit lists in each category will be drawn on the basis of total marks obtained by the candidates in the written examination. Candidates shortlisted in order of merit as per category wise number of vacancies will be put through DME to assess their fitness as per medical policy issued by MHA.

 

Fee Structure :

Application fee of Rs.100/- for General(UR)/ OBC category is to be paid by online payment gateway system . No Application fee is to be paid for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Ex-servicemen.

Candidates complying with required eligibility criteria, may apply online from 02-01-2018 to 31-01-2018. Candidates are advised to read all instruction carefully about filling form as mentioned in the notification.

Candidates should enter all correct and necessary detail in online form and upload their scanned copy of passport size photograph and signature. After successful completion of online form , candidates must take a print out of the online form for their record and future reference.

Indo Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) is inviting online applications from all eligible and interested candidates to work on permanent basis for 62 posts ofHead Constable.

Interested persons fulfilling the criteria may apply online from 14-10-2017 to 13-11-2017. Candidates must go through notification carefully and satisfy themselves of their suitability with regards the essential qualifications for the posts and the age limits before filling online form.

Selection Process :

Selection will be based in 3 stage, Stage-I: Physical efficiency test (PET) , Physical standard test (PST) . Stage-II: Written Examination, Stage-III Verification of original documents and Medical Examination.

Height bar test: Candidates not meeting the prescribed height will be eliminated. Physical efficiency test (PET): Those candidates, qualify the Height Bar Test, will be subjected to physical efficiency test.

Physical efficiency test (PET):

For Male Candidates.

  • (1) Race 1.6 Kms: To be completed within 7.30 Minutes.
  • (2) 11 Feet long Jump: 03 Chances to be given)
  • (3) 3 ½ Feet High Jump: 03 Chances to be given)

For Female Candidates

  • (1) Race 800 Meters To be completed within 4.45 Minutes
  • (2) 9 Feet long Jump 03 Chances to be given)
  • (3) 3 Feet High Jump 03 Chances to be given)

Physical standard test (PST) : Those candidates will qualified in PET , they will be called for PST test.

Candidates who qualify Physical Standard Test are required to undergo biometric identification. However, biometric identification of candidates can be taken at any stage of recruitment.

Qualifying marks shall be 35% for General Candidates & Ex-Servicemen and 33% for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes /Other Backward Class in the written examination. Candidates to the tune of 20 times category wise vacancies will be called to appear in Skill Test of Direct Recruitment on merit basis.

Skill Test will be comprise of typing test on computer. Minimum speed of 35 words per minute in English typing. Skill Test will be qualifying in nature.

Phase-III: Testimonials of the candidates will be checked before Detailed Medical Examination (DME). Candidates shortlisted in order of merit in each category will be put through Detailed Medical Examination to assess their fitness as per MHA Guidelines for Recruitment Medical Examination in Central Armed Police Forces and Assam Rifles.

 

Fee Structure :

Application fee of Rs.100/- for General (UR)/OBC category is to be paid by online payment gateway system. No fee for SC/ ST / Females and Ex-servicemen .
