AFCAT 2015 Apply Online for Officers Air Force Common Aptitude Test
Indian Air Force invites applications from Male, Female Indian Citizens for the mentioned courses commencing in July 2016 for grant of Short Service Commission in Flying Branch and Permanent / Short Service Commission in Technical and Ground Duty Branches.
Candidates are advised to read the notification carefully for filling up Online application. While filling Online application, it is advisable to keep the relevant documents readily and must have recent colour passport size photograph in digital fomat for uploading it with your Online application form.
The online applications for Officers Cadre are open from 27-06-2015 to 23-07-2015.
Indian Air Force will conduct AFCAT 2015 (Air Force Common Admission Test) on 13-09-2015.

Selection Mode:
All applicants whose online applications have been successfully submitted will be called for Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) and Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT) to be conducted on 13-09-2015.
The AFCAT will be of two hours duration and will contain multiple choice questions on verbal ability, numerical ability, reasoning, general awareness and military aptitude. EKT would be for 45 minutes and conducted immediately after AFCAT.
Candidates who are short-listed on the basis of (AFCAT) will be called for further testing at one of the Air Force Selection Boards (AFSBs).
The testing would consist of three stages as :
(a) Stage-I Test consisting of Intelligence Test along with other tests will be conducted on first day. Stage-I test is a screening test and only those who qualify.
(b) Stage-II testing consisting of Psychological test, Group Tests and Interview will be conducted on subsequent days (Five Days).
(c) For Flying Branch: Pilot Aptitude Battery Test (PABT) would be administered to eligible candidates.
